Known as the “Upper West Side” this area is comprised of the Boroughs of West Pittston, West Wyoming and Exeter.  All of the areas are within a short drive to work, schools or worship, and just minutes from Pittston or Wilkes-Barre.  The area is serviced by the Wyoming Area School District which is demanded for its strong academics and reputation.

West Pittston sits opposite Pittston on the Susquehanna River. The town is residential in nature offering varied housing, including stately mansions on some of its beautiful streets and stunning riverfront home of various sizes and architecture.  Wyoming to the south is a town mixed with commercial and manufacturing venues, and many residential areas.  Within the Borough stands the Wyoming Monument which was created in memory of a July 3, 1778 battle between British forces and American settlers where over 300 settlers were killed which forever will be known as the Wyoming Massacre.

West Wyoming and Exeter complete the quadrant of towns in this area.  Exeter has an active retail area along Wyoming Avenue in the community.  Both Exeter and West Wyoming have popular residential neighborhoods with a variety of house styles and sizes.
